Training Programmes

Here are answers to the most frequently asked questions about Live Line training, our programmes, and the services we provide.

This varies depending on the risk involved. For example, 3 to 4 learners is the optimal group size for our high voltage live work programmes. This is due to the high-risk nature of live work and the required level of supervision. It also allows for the practical components of the programme to reflect authentic live work team sizes.  Training group sizes can be further discussed with Richie or Brett.

No, our trainers travel to deliver our programmes at your place of work where the learning is most relevant and valuable.

Workplace-based learning or on-the-job training is when the learner undergoes training at their place of work rather than off-site in a classroom. This type of learning provides the most authentic and relevant learning for the learner; It also ensures that the learners have access to the appropriate workplace exposures and resources that will ensure the practical components of their programmes hold as much value as possible. Furthermore, it ensures that learners are up to date with industry legislation, regulations and standards that are specific to their own work roles.

Our general model is that the employer pays for the training that their employees undertake. Our training is provided to our learners upon entering into a training agreement with us and their employer – sometimes referred to as a ‘tripartite’ agreement.

The training cost you will be quoted will cover the entire cost involved to deliver the training. These costs include the trainer’s travel and accommodation costs, the training delivery and learning materials, and any associated learner credits and qualification processing.
